What Is AI Quantum Trading Agent?

Learn to read markets and trade with confidence — risk-free

AI Quantum is Tutorwise's educational trading tool. It gives you a practice account with real market data so you can learn how financial markets move, test trading strategies, and build confidence — without risking real money.

Note

Educational tool. AI Quantum is designed for learning and practice. All trading is done on a paper (practice) account using real market prices. No real money is involved. This is not financial advice.

What Is AI Quantum Trading Agent?

AI Quantum is Tutorwise's AI-powered educational trading tool. It gives you a practice account loaded with live market data so you can learn how financial markets move, study trading setups, and build the discipline to trade — without putting real money at risk.

Think of it like a flight simulator for trading. The markets are real. The prices are live. The trades are not.

At £10/month, Quantum is built for anyone who wants to understand trading properly before committing real capital — or who simply wants to explore markets without financial risk.

Why We Built Quantum

We built Quantum because the tools that existed did not work for real traders.

Trade Ideas fires hundreds of signals a day with no context for whether conditions are right for them and no feedback loop on whether they worked. You end up cherry-picking based on gut feeling — which defeats the purpose of having a signal tool in the first place.

TradingView has a large community of published trade ideas and tens of thousands of user-created indicators and strategies. But there is no accountability for outcomes. The person who published "Golden Cross Supertrend V3" has no stake in whether it works for you. Most community strategies are fitted to historical charts, not validated against future data. You have no systematic way to know which ones actually work.

3Commas and similar grid trading bots run mechanically without any awareness of what the market is doing. Grid trading assumes the market will always range. Crypto, in particular, trends violently. A bot with no market awareness keeps buying every drop in a downtrend, all the way to zero.

The problem across all three is the same: no regime awareness and no feedback loop. They tell you what to do without telling you whether conditions are right for it — and without ever showing you how it performed.

Quantum was built to solve exactly that.

What Quantum Does Differently

  • Validates before surfacing — signals are only shown when technical conditions genuinely align, with a documented historical win rate behind them
  • Knows when to stand aside — multi-timeframe confirmation checks whether the broader trend supports the signal before showing it to you
  • Shows you the feedback loop — the Edge panel tells you how similar setups have resolved historically on that specific instrument, with honest confidence tiers
  • Uses AI to explain, not just signal — an embedded AI analyst explains every setup in plain English and answers your questions before you act
  • Tracks your discipline — your paper trading history shows not just whether you won or lost, but whether you followed your system

What Quantum Does

  • Watches markets for you — scans currencies, commodities, indices, and crypto for trading setups based on proven, walk-forward validated strategies
  • Shows you the history — tells you how similar setups have performed in the past on each instrument, with statistical confidence levels
  • Helps you practise — lets you place paper trades at real prices to learn execution and risk management without financial risk
  • Explains the setup — an AI analyst you can ask questions about any signal, the market context, and the historical edge before you act on it

What Quantum is not. Quantum is an educational tool. It is not financial advice, not a guarantee of profit, and not a substitute for professional investment guidance. Past signal performance does not guarantee future results. If you are considering real-money trading, consult a qualified financial adviser.

Getting Started

Step 1 — Subscribe to Quantum

Go to Quantum from your sidebar. If you do not yet have a Quantum subscription, you will be prompted to subscribe at £10/month. Once subscribed, your practice account is created automatically.

Step 2 — Your Practice Account

Your practice account starts with a virtual balance. Every trade you place uses this virtual balance — no real money moves. You can:

  • See your practice balance, open positions, and closed trade history
  • Track your performance over time (win rate, profit/loss in R)
  • Reset your account at any time to start fresh
Tip

R is a unit of risk. Instead of showing profit and loss in pounds, Quantum tracks performance in R — multiples of your risk per trade. A trade that wins +2R means you made twice what you risked. This is how professional traders measure performance, independent of account size.

Step 3 — Open the Markets Page

Go to Markets. This is the main workspace. It has three panels:

PanelWhat it does
ChartLive price chart for the selected instrument with indicators
Signal / EdgeTrading setups detected by Quantum, plus your historical edge for each setup
TerminalYour practice account — open positions, trade history, account settings

Step 4 — Choose an Instrument

Use the instrument selector at the top of the page to choose what you want to study. Quantum covers:

  • Forex — EURUSD, GBPUSD, USDJPY, AUDUSD, USDCHF, USDCAD
  • Commodities — Gold, Silver, Oil (WTI)
  • Indices — S&P 500, NASDAQ 100, FTSE 100, DAX, Nikkei 225
  • Crypto — Bitcoin, Ethereum

Step 5 — Place Your First Paper Trade

When a signal appears in the Signal tab, click it to load the Edge panel. Review the setup, check the historical stats, and if you want to practise the trade:

  1. Review the pre-filled entry, stop loss, and take profit levels in the Edge panel
  2. Adjust the levels if needed
  3. Click Paper Trade This Setup
  4. The trade appears in your Terminal under Open Positions

Your practice account balance updates as the trade moves.

Operating Modes

Quantum has three operating modes. Choose the one that matches your learning stage.

Best for: beginners and those building confidence

Quantum detects signals and shows them to you. You decide whether to act. Nothing happens automatically.

Use advisory mode when you are still learning to read signals and want full control over every decision. This is the recommended starting point.

To change mode, go to the Terminal panel and select Settings.

What Makes Quantum Technically Different

Walk-Forward Validated Edge Statistics

Most signal tools show you a strategy's historical performance on the same data it was built on — a form of circular reasoning that produces inflated results. Quantum uses walk-forward validation: signals are detected on the full price history, but outcomes are only measured on data the strategy has never seen. This produces honest statistics — lower win rates than most tools claim, but numbers you can actually trust.

Multi-Timeframe Regime Confirmation

Before Quantum surfaces a signal on your chart, it checks the higher timeframe to confirm the broader market trend supports the direction. A long signal on the 1-hour chart is filtered out if the daily chart is in a downtrend. This is the core innovation that separates Quantum from mechanical tools like grid bots — it knows when conditions are not right and holds back.

AI Signal Analyst — Ask Edge

Ask Edge is an embedded AI analyst trained to explain trading setups in plain English. It has access to the current signal's confluence factors, the instrument's historical edge statistics, and the broader market context. You can ask it why a signal fired, whether now is a good time given the trend, what the historical win rate means, and what the risks are. It gives you a second opinion before you act — not a generic chatbot, but an analyst with context about your specific setup.

Five Validated Strategies — Not Fifty Thousand

TradingView has tens of thousands of community-published strategies. Nobody is accountable for whether they work. Quantum has five built-in strategies — each one studied, documented, and walk-forward tested. You know the historical win rate, expectancy, and the conditions each one requires. Less choice, more confidence.

Confidence Tiers That Tell You When Not to Trust the Data

Most tools show you a win rate without telling you how many trades it is based on. A 75% win rate based on four trades is statistically meaningless. Quantum shows a confidence tier alongside every edge statistic — Low (fewer than 10 resolved trades), Moderate (10–30), and High (more than 30). When confidence is Low, the win rate number is greyed out. This honesty is by design.

Tips for Getting the Most From Quantum

  1. Start with one instrument. Pick one market — Gold or EURUSD are good starting points — and study it until you understand how signals behave on it before moving to others
  2. Use advisory mode first. Do not jump to autonomous mode. Manual review of each trade is how you learn what the signals mean
  3. Check the Edge panel every time. Before placing any paper trade, always look at the historical stats. If confidence is low, treat the setup as unproven
  4. Track your deviations. If you skip a signal or adjust the levels significantly, note why. The gap between what the system suggests and what you actually do is where most trading mistakes happen
  5. Give it time. Edge analysis needs at least 10–30 resolved trades to be meaningful. Use the first few weeks to build up your history

Troubleshooting

Q: I subscribed but I cannot see the Markets page. A: Try refreshing the page. If the issue persists, go to Quantum Billing to confirm your subscription is active, then contact support.

Q: My practice account balance is wrong. A: Open positions affect your balance as prices move. Check the Terminal panel for any open trades. Closed trade P&L is reflected immediately.

Q: I cannot enable autonomous mode. A: Autonomous mode requires a minimum of 100 completed paper trades. Check your trade history in the Terminal to see how many resolved trades you have.

Q: The chart is not loading. A: Market data is fetched in real time. If the chart is blank, check your internet connection and refresh the page. If the issue persists, the data provider may be temporarily unavailable.

Q: Can I reset my practice account? A: Yes. Go to Terminal > Settings > Reset Account. This clears your balance and trade history and starts you fresh with the default virtual balance.
